Following Instructions

While I was caring for my Mom, in Washington, everybody was asleep. While sitting on the deck after doing the morning chores, I heard this instruction, "Go for a walk."
It was already 95 degrees outside and getting hotter.
Seemed kinda foolish to me to go out in that heat . . . but I obeyed.

As I walked I heard this instruction, "Walk to the river."
That was 7 miles away! That seemed even more foolish! I obeyed.

When I got there and sat where he told me to. I heard this instruction. "There is a woman named Karen coming. Talk to her." She showed up within two minutes after I had sat down where He told me to.

As I talked with her, I was using her name, "Karen." I had forgot He had told me her name while on my way to the river.

After concluding our conversation, I prayed with her.

She said, as I was leaving, "I didn't tell you my name and that is really freaking me out!"
I smiled and said, that happens sometimes . . . .

God gives us Help by giving us an instruction. The reason we don't often get the Help we need is because we don't listen for the instruction and then don't Do it.
Sometimes His instructions seem foolish to the 'wise.'

Grace and Mercy

"Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions." Ephesians 2:5

"It is by Grace, through Faith you have been saved." Ephesians 2:8
(Grace saves us, when we have Faith enough to believe it. It also provides "Shalom." Shalom - Everything we need for LIFE and GODLINESS. Grace works from the inside out, not the outside in.

A good way to understand the meaning of MERCY is to see how it relates to GRACE:

Mercy-- What you DON"T get when you deserve it. ( Withheld punishment )

Grace-- What you DO get when you don't deserve it. ( Unmerited Favor )

Mercy is like a judge finding you guilty, but then withholding any punishment. Grace is getting something you could never have imagined. An inexplicable gift. It's like the same judge awarding you $10,000,000.00, after finding you guilty!

Listen and Ask Questions

When Jesus was just 12 years old, in the Temple, in Jerusalem, he sat among the religious teachers of the Law; He 'listened' to them and asked them 'questions.'
All who heard him were amazed at his 'understanding' and his 'answers.'
Luke 2:46

"Be an imitator of God using Christ Jesus as your example," Ephesians 5:1

Listen, Ask Questions, Get Understanding, and Be Ready with an Answer.

Understanding should be what knowledge leads us to. Knowledge is just knowledge. The world has a whole lot a 'knowledge' but it's still going to hell in a hand basket without understanding; aint it?

I'm pretty sure that is why Jesus said, from the cross,  Father forgive them because they don't know what they are doing."

Faithfulness . . . Ephesians 1:1-2

I've been meditating on Ephesians 5:1 daily for three months now. It's been very enlightening . . .
I'm going to begin a study of Ephesians and will share it here with you all.  :)

To those of you who pray:

Please ask the Holy Spirit to give me revelation in my study of this Great Book.

Thank You for all of you who pray for me, it has made all the difference.
I pray for all of you and I'm daily asking God to give us all Spiritual wisdom and insight so our hearts will be flooded with light and thereby grow in our knowledge and understanding of God.

"He said, "My Child, pay attention to my words. Let them penetrate deep into your heart . . . Then you will have success and it will bring healing to your entire 'body.' "

Jesus is the head of His 'church,' (true Believers), which is his 'body.'
Maybe that's the Body that will get healed . . . . when I let His word penetrate deep into my heart.

Faith - full - ness -  The confidence  that comes by trusting God's promises, to keep moving forward.  Hebrews 11

A letter is usually written to someone for some purpose. Ephesians 1: 1-2

Paul wrote the Letter to the Ephesians to "Faithful Followers of Christ" in Ephesus.
He asked God to give them two things 'Grace and Shalom . . .' (more on that later)

I can only assume from that, He wasn't writing to 'Unfaithful Followers of Christ' because there aren't really any of those.
We are either Faithful Followers or we are not Faithful Followers.

Paul wasn't asking God to give 'Unfaithful Followers of Christ' Grace or Shalom.
Unfaithfulness doesn't need either Grace or Shalom because unfaithfulness follows it's own path.

As an imitator of God, using Jesus as my example, maybe it would conserve time and effort if I would follow suit . . .

"Holy Spirit lead us to 'Faithful Followers' and to those who are in the 'process' of being saved.
It sure would save a lot a wasted time and effort Sir! Thank You Jesus!"

Understanding

A Heart full of understanding is much much more than a heart just full of knowledge.

Understanding - The ability to understand something; comprehension. sympathetically aware of other people's feelings; tolerant and forgiving.

Solomon asked God for an understanding Heart; 1Kings 3:9.
That's what made him a great leader.

Abba, give us understanding Hearts to lead this great people of YOURS!

Faith

Walking by faith and not by sight, imparts protection, and will lead you to a place where no evil can touch you.

Job 5:19
2 Timothy 4:18
Proverbs 34:19
Isaiah 54:14

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Kids, that implies that we are actually reading, hearing, and speaking the Word of God.

Fluff does not build Faith, the Word does.

The 'Campers Promise. "  (An example of Faith built on the promises of God.)

"You’ll be able to laugh at destruction and famine.
Also you won’t have to fear wild animals,
for you will be in league with the stones in the field,
and the wild animals will be at peace with you.
You will know that your tent is safe;
you will look round your home and miss nothing."
Job 5:22-23

It is how I believe every single day! I heard it in the Word of God and I have Faith to live it.
So far, I aint been ate yet.  :)

About moving forward . . .

Dream, learn, do and become!!!!
Faith is the confidence to know you can keep moving forward. Even when everyone and every circumstance tells you, you can't . . . .

Yemenite Bride, A Bride for a King . . .

During a Yemenite Jewish wedding, the bride was bedecked with jewelry and wore a traditional wedding costume, including an elaborate headdress decorated with flowers and rue leaves, which were believed to ward off evil. Gold threads were woven into the fabric of her clothing. Songs were sung as part of a seven-day wedding celebration, with lyrics about friendship and love in alternating verses of Hebrew and Arabic.

After immigration to Israel, the regional varieties of Yemenite bridal jewelry were replaced by a uniform item that became identified with the community: the splendid bridal garb of Sana'a.

Before the wedding, Yemenite and other Eastern Jewish communities perform the henna ceremony.
The family of the bride mixes a paste derived from the Henna plant that is placed on the palms of the bride and groom, and their guests. After the paste is washed off, a deep orange stain remains that gradually fades over the next week.

Yemenites had a special affinity for Henna due to biblical and Talmudic references. Henna, in the Bible, is Camphire, and is mentioned in the Song of solomon, as well as in the Talmud.
"My Beloved is unto me as a cluster of Camphire in the vineyards of En-Gedi" Song of Solomon
From Isaiah 61 and 62

“I am so joyful in Adonai! My soul rejoices in my God, for he has clothed me in salvation, dressed me with a robe of triumph, like a bridegroom wearing a festive turban, like a bride adorned with her jewels.
For just as the earth brings forth its plants, or a garden makes its plants spring up, so Adonai, God, will cause victory and glory to spring up before all nations.”

“You will no longer be spoken of as ‘Azuvah [Abandoned]
or your land be spoken of as ‘Sh’mamah [Desolate];
rather, you will be called Heftzi-Vah [My-Delight-Is-In-Her]
and your land Be‘ulah [Married].”

“For Adonai delights in you, and your land will be married —
as a young man marries a young woman, your sons will marry you; as a bridegroom rejoices over the bride, your God will rejoice over you.”

Revelation 19:17

"Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready; it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure”— for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints. And the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.”

Learners Permit

Tzaddik - Hebrew singular noun for the 'Righteous One"
Tzaddikim - Hebrew plural noun - Students of Righteousness - people with a learners permit. When I was a teacher, I noticed something about students, "They sometimes fail." Eventually though, if they keep tryin, they get it.

"All your people will be 'tzaddikim;'
they will inherit the land forever;
they will be the BRANCH I planted,
my handiwork, in which I take pride.
"The smallest will grow to a thousand,
the weakest will become a mighty nation.
I, Adonai, when the right time comes,
will quickly bring it about.”
Isaiah 60:21-22 Complete Jewish Bible

( Didn't Paul say something about a BRANCH? )

Walking with God

The Jews of old used to have over a 100 blessings they would say all day that related to everything they did.

It began when they woke up in the morning after a nights sleep:
"Adonai, thank you for causing my spirit and yours to return to my body this morning."

Can you imagine, the Blessings that would constantly be in your spirit if you did the same?

That's what Paul meant by, "Pray without ceasing" It is also what is meant by walking with God. And what the Psalmist meant when He said, "In everything let God be praised."

Enoch curiously, the seventh from Adam, (seven being the number of perfection), Is the only other person, other than Yeshua, mentioned in the Word of God, that "Walked with God," and God took him.

We can only practice walking with God but with Yeshua in us, we are counted worthy just as Enoch was. God is gettin ready to take us too . . . In a twinkling of an eye at the Last Trumpet, which, I think, is about to be sounded.

The 'EYES' of Faith

What do you 'see' when you close your eyes? Can you 'see' the thing you need?

We don't get the things we pray for unless we can see it, with the eyes of the Spirit, inside us, first.

It begins with the seed of possibility; planted in our heart.
"Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God."
Romans 10:17

Then, when you can see it, inside, just believe it.

If we can't see it, inside first, and are unable to believe what we see inside, then we aren't ready to pray for it, yet.

Doubters may hear, but they never SEE.

Faith is what enables us to 'SEE."

"Therefore, I say to you, WHATEVER THINGS . . . you ask for . . . WHEN YOU PRAY . . . BELIEVE that you RECEIVE them, and you will have them!"
Matthew 11:24

"Without prophetic vision, people abandon restraint, but those who obey the Law are happy." Proverbs 29:18

I have to believe the vision I see, restrain the abandonment of Faith, and obey the Laws of Faith.

That's how I live in the mountains, If I didn't, I would die there or get ate!

Practice makes perfect . . .  :)

Qualifiers

After 40 years of listening to people, who said, "they knew," tell me why I didn't qualify, I stopped listening to them and started to Listen to the ONE who, "does know" tell me why I do qualify. It has madeallthedifference. Shouldn't you too?

Everything is possible with God, when we follow Jesus!
He will tell ya so too! Their are no disqualifiers with Him.

John 5:41-44Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)

“I don’t collect praise from men, (your approval means nothing to me), but I do know you people — I know that you have no love for God in you! I have come in my Father’s name, and you don’t accept me; if someone else comes in his own name, him you will accept. How can you trust? You’re busy collecting praise from each other, instead of seeking praise from God only."

Every Good and Perfect Gift

"Andrew, one of the Talmadim, the brother of Shim'on Kefa said to Him, There's a young fellow here who has five loaves of Barley bread and two fish, but how far will they go among so many?" John 6:9 CJB

Then, Jesus showed them, How far, so little, can go, among so many.

It wasn't about the 'giving' of the 'two fish and five loaves.' It was about 'Who they were given to.'

What should WE DO in order to PERFORM the works of God? Here's what the WORK OF GOD is; TO TRUST in the One He sent.
John 6:28-29 CJB

God's not looking for miracle workers, He already has 'One.' He is looking for Believers.

It isn't about PERFORMING; it is about BELIEVING.

Being a cheerful giver is easy; It's just based on what we already have.

Being a cheerful receiver, is a whole nuther Ball game. It is based on what we don't YET have. Hebrews 11:1-2

It takes Belief, and Trust, in the One He sent, to receive by grace through faith.

"For by 'grace' you have been saved through 'faith, (trusting that it will be done), And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God," Ephesians 2:8 ESV
(Read it S L O W L Y)

(note: We get everything else good in our lives this way too.)

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. "  James 1:17

Complaining

In his effort to control the downward spiral of his circumstances, through constant and consistent complaining . . . It was pointed out to a certain man that he had forgotten some of the usual things he complained about.

In an effort to be more consistent in his complaining he began to keep a complaint journal to better track and keep up with his complaining.

It caught on well, among others, of like bent, and eventually became Face Book . . . .

Numbers 11:1-4

"And the people complained in the hearing of the Lord about their misfortunes, and when the Lord heard it, his anger was kindled, and the fire of the Lord burned among them and consumed some outlying parts of the camp.
Then the people cried out to Moses, and Moses prayed to the Lord, and the fire died down. So the name of that place was called Taberah, because the fire of the Lord burned among them.
Now the rabble that was among them had a strong craving. And the people of Israel also complained again and said, “Oh that we had meat to eat! "

The Power of Forgiveness

Corrie ten Boom, a survivor of the Holocaust, whose sister was killed in the camps, went to Germany with a message of God's forgiveness in 1947.

She then began a ministry to Holocaust survivors.

She later said, "Those who forgave their captors, an understandably difficult thing to do, went on to live prosperous lives. Those who continued to nurse their bitterness, continued to suffer and never found peace or healing for their wounds . . ."

"Whenever you stand up to pray, forgive whatever you have against anyone, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins.
Mark 11:25

Forgiving others can be a very difficult thing to do, but it IS Gods Way to healing and freedom.

"It is for freedom you have been set free"

God help me to forgive today!

Hear O Israel!

Where Help Really Comes From . . . Hear O Israel!

When Solomon dedicated the Temple. God said to him, "When your enemies, or plague, or famine attack you, you can come before this Temple and ask for MY help and I will deliver you!"

King Jehoshaphat learned, from some 'messengers,'  a vast army from Edom, Ammon, and the Menuites were approaching Jerusalem to attack Israel. He was TERRIFIED!

Jehoshaphat Went and stood before the new courtyard of the Temple and said this to the Lord, "We don't know what to do. but WE ARE LOOKING TO YOU FOR HELP!"

Long story short, God said, "Do not be afraid! Don’t be discouraged by this mighty army, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. Tomorrow, march out against them. You will find them coming up through the ascent of Ziz at the end of the valley that opens into the wilderness of Jeruel. But you will not even need to fight. Take your positions; then stand still and watch the Lord’s victory. He is with you, O people of Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid or discouraged. Go out against them tomorrow, for the Lord is with you!” 2 Chronicles 20:15-17

Long story short, God did just that He defeated Israel's enemies! All they had to do is TRUST Him, The army of Israel was led by Singers and Worshipers!

Where does your HELP come from?

Martha said of Mary as she sat at the feet of Jesus, Lord don't you care that Mary has left me here to serve alone?

What did Jesus say?

We run around looking for Help from every possible source but the ONE who can really help, don't we?

Tishah B'Av The 9th of Av

A lesson in Trust and Faith . . .

What happened on the 9th of Av? (Av, in the Lunar calendar of the Bible is August).  What was set in motion?

The troubles associated with the Ninth of Av began in 1313 BC when the Israelites refused to go into the promised land and remained in the Wilderness. Consequently that generation of Israelites never enters the Holy Land, they die in the Wilderness. Only their children had that privilege, after wandering in the desert for another 38 years.

The first Temple was destroyed on the 9th of Av in 423 BC.
The second Temple was destroyed on the 9th of Av in 69 AD
Both Temples were destroyed on the same day and month, (9th of Av),  that the Israelites refused to Trust God and go into the Promised land!

When the Jews rebelled against Roman rule, they believed that their leader, Simon bar Kochba, would fulfill their messianic longings. But their hopes were cruelly dashed in 133 CE as the Jewish rebels were brutally butchered in the final battle at Betar. The date of the massacre? Of course—the 9th of Av!
One year after their conquest of Betar, the Romans plowed over the Temple Mount, our nation's holiest site. on the 9th of Av!

The Jews were expelled from England in 1290 CE on, you guessed it, the 9th of Av!

In 1492, the Golden Age of Spain came to a close when Queen Isabella and her husband Ferdinand ordered that the Jews be banished from the land.
The edict of expulsion was signed on March 31, 1492, and the Jews were given exactly four months to put their affairs in order and leave the country. The Hebrew date on which no Jew was allowed any longer to remain in the land where he had enjoyed welcome and prosperity?  Oh, by now you know it—the 9th of Av.

Ready for just one more? World War II and the Holocaust, historians conclude, was actually the long drawn-out conclusion of World War I that began in 1914. And yes, amazingly enough, Germany declared war on Russia, effectively catapulting the First World War into motion, on the 9th of Av, Tisha b'Av.

There are many more significant world events connected to the 9th of Av. Many are happening now.
Study it you will be amazed.

What can we make of all this?

Jews see this as another confirmation of the deeply held conviction that history isn't haphazard; events – even terrible ones – are part of a Divine plan and have spiritual meaning. The message of time is that everything has a rational purpose, even though we don't understand it.

I wonder what will be next . . . Remember this all started with a refusal to 'Trust God.'

Tishah B'Av - Aug. 4th-5th ( The 9th of Av in the Jewish Lunar Calender is very signifigant to Jews and it should be signifigant to Christians and the Whole world!

Here is a little about it.
Pay close attention to the last paragraph.

Tishah B'Av (תשעה באב, the "ninth [day] of [the month of] Av") is an annual day of mourning that recalls the many tragedies that have befallen the Jewish people over the centuries, but most especially the destruction of the Holy Temple and the ongoing galut (exile) of Israel. This year Tishah B'Av begins Monday August 4th at sundown and runs 25 hours until Tuesday, August 5th, one hour after sundown. The customs for observing the holiday are similar to those of Yom Kippur.

Tishah B'Av is generally regarded as the saddest day of the Jewish year (and even sadder than Yom Kippur) since it was on this date that both the First and the Second Temples were destroyed and the Jewish people were forced into exile. The root of these tragedies is said to go back to the Exodus from Egypt, when the LORD decreed a 40 year exile from the Promised Land because of the Sin of the Spies on the ninth of Av. In addition, Aaron died on Av 1 (Num. 33:38), and this was said to foreshadow the destruction of the Temple. The sages call this prophetic principle: ma'aseh avot siman labanim (מַעֲשֵׂה אֲבוֹת סִימָן לַבָּנִים): "The deeds of the fathers are signs for the children." (Believers in Christ are the Spiritual offspring of our Jewish Forefathers).

The ninth of Av is the lowest point of a three week period of mourning that began with the fast of the 17th of Tammuz (which was undertaken to recall the first breach in the walls of Jerusalem by the Babylonians before the First Temple was destroyed three weeks later). The period of the "Three Weeks of Sorrow" is intended to instill a sense of teshuvah (repentance) and to prepare for the Messianic redemption to come.

Emunah - Faith

The word translated 'faith' in Hebrew is "emunah".

Emunah - acting with firmness toward God's will.

Emuna 'Faith,' is best learned and applied when we don't have what we need, or see any way out of the circumstances we are in. It is most profitable to us when we don't have the things we need, and then is used to appropriate the things we need.  It is based on God's promises.

We don't need emunah faith when we already have everything we need or when everything is ducky, do we?

"Trusting is being confident of what we hope for, convinced about things we do not see." Hebrews 11:1

Faith, trust should lead us to act with "emunah."
Acting or doing something with firmness toward God's will.

Recentlym a man who went to our men's retreat in the mountains of Montana came home to find out his wife had left him. An opportune time to hold on to your faith and not throw it out the window; wouldn't you say . . .
It's times like these that faith comes in most handy, aint it?

What do we normally do with our faith when the poop hits the fan . . .

. . . Hold on to it and act accordingly or throw it away? What should we do?

Again . . .Emunah - A Hebrew word translated 'faith' - 'A firm action toward God's will'
Hebrews 11:1

To get water you have to dig the well first. Usually, you have to do that by faith that there is water somewhere under the ground ya haven't seen YET.

What do ya do when you dont 'see' the promises of God happening around you?
Well, ya just keep diggin!

The righteous live by faith and NOT by sight!

"So don't throw away that courage of yours, for it carries with it such a great reward; for YOU need to hold out; so that, by having DONE what God wills, you may RECEIVE what He has PROMISED." Hebrews 10:15

One more time . . . Emunah - Hebrew word translated "Faith" - "A firm action toward God's will"

Abba, lead us ALL in the way of faith and trust today so we might receive what you have promised. Help us ALL to just keep movin forward today and not worry about the things of tomorrow. Show your self strong on our behalf and give us your peace to know you hold the universe in your hand. In Jesus name, strengthen us, help us, and uphold us by your righteous right hand!"

The Temple of God

From Tehillim (Psalms) 132 -
God put it in David's heart to build a dwelling place.
God told David he could not because David was a man of blood. It would be one of Davids sons who would build the Temple.
Solomon built the physical Temple.
I think it was another Son who would build the Spiritual Temple . . .

"Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you?" 1 Corinthians 3:16

He wants US to be His Dwelling Place.
The spiritual result of that is the same as the physical one . . .

"For the Lord has chosen Jerusalem;
he has desired it for his home.
“This is my resting place forever,” he said.
“I will live here, for this is the home I desired.
I will bless this city and make it prosperous;
I will satisfy its poor with food.
I will clothe its priests with godliness;
its faithful servants will sing for joy.
Here I will increase the power of David;
my anointed one will be a light for my people.
I will clothe his enemies with shame,
but he will be a glorious king.”

Jesus said to the Samaritan woman, at the well,  "If you knew who I was you would ask me for water and the water I would give you, if you would drink it, would flow out of you like a river of living water"

Everything we do then would flow out of being His dwelling place!

Christ In Us

It's NOT the natural character, history, intelligence, wealth, cultural lineage, moral rectitude, or social standing of men that makes a Man of God, it is the indwelling of Christ. If He is in us, those things will be there too. If He is not in us, well, we can only pretend.
"Christ in us, the hope of Glory!"

Genealogies - Qualifying the Unqualified

Just because the world or religion disqualifies you does not mean God does . . .   It is God who qualifies and is able to make us stand; not the opinions of men .  .  . read on .  .  .  :)

Genealogies are very important to the Jew. You have to prove your ancestry to make 'Aliya;' to return to the Land. You have to prove by way of your ancestry you are a Levite to become a Priest. If we were to study the Genealogies as they are listed, throughout the Bible, they would reveal some curious things.

In the Jewish Bible, the last book of the Old covenant is 2nd Chronicles, not Malachi; as it is in the Gentile version.
2nd Chronicles, (Divrei Hayamim Bet), is a book of Genealogies that flow right into the first book, Matthew, (Mattiyahu), of the four Gospels.  Which  are primarily four books about Christ's search for the "Lost sheep of Israel."

"This is a record of the ancestors of Jesus the Messiah, a descendant of David and of Abraham . . . . All those listed include 14 generations from Abraham to David 14 generations from David to the Babylonian exile, and 14 from the Babylonian exile to the Messiah . . ." Matthew, (Mattiyahu) 1:1,17

I am pretty sure this Genealogical record of Yeshua's Ancestry would stand up to the legal test for Christ to make Aliya; to RETURN to the land . . .

Another thing about the Ancestry of Christ . . .

Four women are mentioned in the Genealogy of Christ.  Interestingly they are not Sarah, Rebekah, Leah, or Rachel; the wives of the Patriarchs!

They are Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, and Bathsheba.

Tamar, a deceiver who prostituted herself to produce children through her Father-in-Law.

Rahab, a Gentile and a prostitute in Jericho. Who BECAME a believer in God and the Mother of Boaz who married Ruth.

Ruth, a Moabitess Gentile who married Boaz and Became the Grandmother of King David.

Bathsheba, an adulteress and wife of King David also an adulterer and murderer.

I think most religious people would have chosen the wives of the Patriarchs rather then prostitutes, adulterers, and women of questionable ancestry to be in the lineage of David and ultimately the Christ.

God DID NOT however, choose the wives of the Patriarchs. . . He chose women, who in the worlds eyes, were of no reputation.
God qualifies those whom the world disqualifies . . . Hmmmmm . . . So much for the opinions of men.

It's NOT the natural character, history, intelligence, wealth, cultural lineage, or social standing, of men that makes a Man of God, it is the indwelling of Christ.
"Christ in us the hope of Glory!"

The Head of the Body . . .

As I was packing out of the mountains yesterday, Jesus said to me, "I am the head of the body."
As I thought about it, I realized, the brain, the eyes, the ears, the mouth, and the tongue are all in the 'Head of the body" The rest of the body can only react to what the Head thinks, the ears hear, and the mouth speaks!

Only those with an undivided mind, (which is in the Head of the Body of Christ), can receive anything good from Him. (see James)
He is the head of the body and His mind IS undivided. You are complete in Him already, by His finished work, now learn to receive good from Him.

We are the Body of Christ, He is the Head! "All the blessings of God are on the 'Head " of the righteous!"

How Far Can We Go

What's in my 'tank' will determine how 'far ' I can go . . . .
What I am full of determines, what I will think, say, and do . . .

"If you knew who, I Am, you would ask me for water from which, if you would drink, you would never thirst again . . ."

He gave us the Book to point us to Him, not to a collection of knowledge.
He said, "You can do NOTHING without me . . . "

It aint about what we can Do for Him, it is about what He, (Jesus), can do through us. I am certain all the 'kowledge' in the world is to no lasting purpose unless it flows out, and from, the One who lives in us.

"Ever learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the Truth."
Jesus said, "I AM the Way, the TRUTH, and the Life!"
