Speaking to the 'religious' people of his day, through the Prophet Yesha 'Yahu, the Holy Spirit spoke of the 'mowtah,' the 'yoke.'
He said this:
"Then you will call, and the Lord will answer;
you will cry for help, and he will say: "Here am I." '
“If you do away with the mowtah, the 'yoke' of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk, and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday." Yesha 'Yahu/Isaiah 58: 9-10
And that kids, using Yeshua/Jesus as our example, (see Ephesians 5:1). is what He came to do . . . to remove the mowtah . . . the yoke . . . of 'religion.'
He came to set us free from the penalty and punishment of sin.
"It is for freedom we have been set free!" Galatians 5:1
If we put rules and regulations on people and expect them to keep those rules and regulations, to gain our approval, aren't we damning them for who or what we 'judge' them to be, instead of helping them to become who God want's and see's them to be? (see Isaiah 58).
All things are possible with God!
